2026 Fife Planting Season- Photos
We’ve had a very busy March planting in 7 of our sites in Fife. Our fabulous Volunteers turned out in mostly good weather emptying the polytunnel of all but the stock plants needed to keep on Propagating for the next planting season.
31 volunteers came along to help restore Saltmarsh on the Tay and Eden estuaries, some joined more than once, and one hardy volunteer joined us at all but one of the Fife planting sessions.
Together they donated nearly 200 hours of their time, and planted thousands of plants. The steady work of the polytunnel propagation volunteers meant we could restore more sites than if we had been taking the plants all from nearby healthy saltmarsh without growing them on.
